Monthly TBR February

Monthly TBR is a new feature where I discuss what books I plan to read every month.

Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a good February and reading good books! It is all about catching up on backlist e-ARCs this month in regards to the audiobooks. Let me share:

Overdrive – Mostly Audio

The Serpent King, You Know Me Well and Jane Anonymous are for eARCs. Unfortunately, I can no longer think of The Serpent King without thinking of Riverdale so we shall see how the (completely unrelated) book holds up to it.

Emma is for my one classic for the month, though I’d love to read more if I’m able… I’ve never read an Austen book.

All The Things We Do In The Dark and A Treason Of Thorns are just for fun.

Hoopla – Audiobooks

Here is where all my old eARCs reading comes in:

Ah, yes, some of these are ridiculously old. Don’t Read the Comments is the newest because, you know, it came out last month.

I’m most excited to finally get to Can’t Look Away, Ship It, The Chaos of Standing Still and of course, How I Resist.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get to these or not but I’ll cross my fingers anyway. I really want to read these, I’ve heard amazing things about all three.

Audible – Audiobooks

Audible has this sort of sale going on where if you read three titles by like, March 5th, you get a $20 voucher which I need to buy. more. books.

I cannot wait to listen to Yes No Maybe So, it’s on my anticipated Contemporary reads for the year. The Accidental Bad Girl was a recent discovery and I’ve been waiting to get the chance to listen to it. I love the ostracized, unlikeable heroines. 🧡🧡

Veronica Mars

Now I have an excuse to just buy it on Audible, it doesn’t hurt that it’s pretty cheap as well.

Physical Book

I’m reading Some Places More Than Others as my Middle Grade read for the month. I did super awful last month with my physical TBR. I thought I would slow it way down and just make it my goal to read this one book.

What kind of girl

I’m still working on Foul Is Fair as well as my Kindle Books I wanted to read last month.

Have you read any of these books? Do you make a monthly TBR in advance? How do you decide what to put on it? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I read 8 of these. Lots of excellent books up there. Coming Up for Air was such a great finale for the Hundred Oaks series. Loved it! The Serpent King still gives me the feels every time I think of it. I was a black sheep on Everything Must Go, as I rather liked it and found many of the observations the author made interesting. Loved the structure of What Kind of Girl. I hope these books result in an amazing reading month for you

I had no idea Coming Up For Air was the finale! It makes sense though given the topics and finality of it all. It was my first Hundred Oaks book. I’m tragically behind. I didn’t get around to reading Everything Must Go. Darn Hoopla limits, but it’s possibly on my TBR for March or…maybe April. I still need to get to What Kind of Girl! After I finish up the books I’ve started, sigh. I’ve been having an amazing reading month so far.
