Wondrous Covers Wednesday (#17)

Every Wednesday I share my feature Wondrous Covers Wednesday. Wondrous Covers Wednesday was created to share my love of gorgeous book covers, you can view past WCWs here.. 🙂

For this week’s Wondrous Covers Wednesday, I chose to feature Science-Fiction book covers with female faces.

~One~

Mind Games (#1) by Kiersten White

I love how eye catching this cover is, it’s really bright and has a sort of digitalization effect on it. I love the font for the title and the placement.

~Two~

Parallel by Lauren Miller

Parallel’s cover really gets across the parallel aspect with the title and the two halves of the girl. I really love how the title is done to parallel it.

~Three~

Beta (#1) by Rachel Cohn

I like the shades of this cover, the purple is nice. I like how the fonts and feel they’re uniquely done.

Overall I love how each of these covers use different aspects to emphasize what the book is about and the science fiction genre of it all, Mind Games with the background, Parallel with the mirroring and Beta with the font style. I think it’s interesting how both the girls on Mind Games and Beta have unusually colored eyes.
