Hey everyone! Today I am bringing back my book spotlight feature where I feature a new release book and create a book inspired list.
Today’s list is inspired by The Noh Family by Grace K. Shim. I listened to The Noh Family last month and absolutely loved it. I would not mind a sequel for it at all, by which I mean please please, I need it. In The Noh Family, Chloe discovers her mother’s been keeping the truth of her father’s family from her. Soon after a DNA test, she goes to visit them and drama ensues. If you like Korean Dramas, you will love this and if you love this, you need Korean Dramas in your life.
There is something so intriguing about DNA tests and discovering where you come from or who you’re related to. As someone who found out I have an older half sister sans a test, a few of these books immediately grabbed my attention. I love seeing DNA tests and genealogy feature more in YA and think they’re such an interesting plot point that can go in so many different ways, as we’ll see below.

The Truth Project and Golden State were the first ones that came to my mind too! Also, I read another one recently, but I feel like saying what it is would be a huge spoiler, and I think it is a book you would like so. My mouth is zipped! Fun topic!
