Hi all. I wanted to share some covers of gorgeous looking book covers from 2019. I wanted to get this post up before the end of the month a lot sooner than now. I’ve been a bit burnt out though so here it is. I would love to know your thoughts!
Why yes, I did organize these by position. Looking to the right is apparently ‘in’.
Dealing In Dreams looks like a dream.
I love seeing so many Black and POC models on these covers. Especially a fat POC with There’s Something About Sweetie (which is an amazing book if you didn’t already know.
I just really love the pinkness of The Grace Year, You Must Not Miss, The Dead Queens Club and If I’m Being Honest a lot.
The fonts on Last Girl Lied To, All The Bad Apples and How To Make Friends With The Dark is lovely.
I like the academic vibe that You Asked For Perfect gives me, especially with the pencil there.
You can read my reviews for Full Disclosure, The Revolution of Birdie Randolph and On The Come Up right here.
Covers with multiple people:
I really love the colors in Ziggy, Stardust & Me, Hello Girls and Rayne & Delilah’s Midnight Matinee, they go so well together.
Sick Kids In Love, The How & The Why, Like A Love Story and I Hope You Get This Message are super cute animated covers I could look at forever. The backgrounds in them is just 🧡.
Love From A to Z and Serious Moonlight’s covers make me want to devour them alone. Serious Moonlight has serious coffee shop vibes and I’m living for it.
Covers with designs:
A Constellation of Roses and We Set The Dark On Fire has such intricate designs, they just look like poetry and those titles are gorgeous. I mean, if you think setting the dark on fire can be gorgeous. 😂
